I have a problem.

Fishburne offers a variety of scholarships to offset tuition fees。Most likely, your family will be eligible for at least one scholarship and/or financial aid。 

He will be challenged in Fishburne - both in and out of the classroom。That's what sets Fishburne apart from non-military schools, because we see the good in him。Our dedicated faculty and staff will help him chart a path to success, including teaching the military side。

Being a Fishburne Cadet is like being in a non-military school。However, as a member of our JROTC Cadet Corps, he will be conducting military training in uniform。He will also follow certain rules, including sticking to a daily schedule。He takes classes, plays sports if he feels like it, and participates in organized extracurricular activities。

Poor grades do not automatically disqualify your son from Fishburn。Some students who enroll at Fishburne do not do well academically at their previous schools。However, once he became a cadet at Fishburne, he had to commit to academic success。This includes asking for help, taking help classes when needed, and holding yourself accountable for completing work on time。 

A handbook of regulations is available on the school's online network for each student to access upon entering FMS。The book clearly spells out Fishburne's rules and regulations。As mentioned earlier, in the event of a conflict between this manual and the rulebook, the rulebook prevails。The Regulation manual is also available in PDF format。

Students receive uniforms from the Student shop when they register for FMS。Your trainees will be wearing these uniforms most of the time。Due to the small storage space, we limit the number of casual clothes students may bring with them。All cadets should arrive in khaki pants, khaki shorts and polo shirts。 

Fishburne is an all-boys school for day students and boarders。 

If he is a 7 day boarder, he can go home on weekends if it is an "open" weekend。You usually get to go home at least one weekend a month。

Emergency leave can be granted at any time。Request for leave in writing or by email;However, as an exception, the commander may grant a telephone request from the cadet's guardian。This request should be addressed to the Commander's office or the officer in charge。Emergency leave may only be used in extreme emergencies such as death, serious injury or illness of a member of the trainee's immediate family。 

While attending Fishburn Military Academy, cadets may not possess, use, or distribute illegal substances or paraphernalia, alcohol, prescription drugs, or any type of over-the-counter drugs。All trainees will be tested for drugs and alcohol, either randomly or at the discretion of the FMS。Parents will be notified of the results and billed。The School considers the misuse of any legal or illegal over-the-counter or prescription drugs to be a violation of the school's drug policy。

Fishburn Military School adopted the name "Tobacco-free School"。The possession, use, sale, or distribution of tobacco or tobacco-like products is prohibited at Fishburne Military Academy。Parents are notified of all tobacco rule violations。 

The Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) is an academically required course taught by senior Army instructors。 All high school cadets at FMS are required to successfully complete (pass) JROTC each year they are enrolled at FMS。 JROTC is a course worth one credit per year。 Leadership and character development instruction is included in all stages of FMS military and cadet life。All text materials and training AIDS are provided by the U.S. Army。课堂、冒险和演习指导由经过陆军训练和认证的教官进行。

The goal of the JROTC program is to foster civic awareness and develop cadets' leadership skills。The principles taught apply to both civilian and military activities。The teaching program is designed in building blocks so that each year's teaching builds on the subjects taught in the previous year。 JROTC doesn't teach cadets how to be soldiers。Passing JROTC and earning JROTC credits for each year of enrollment at FMS is a graduation requirement。 

There are a variety of fun activities to get him off campus almost every weekend, including air rifle outings, movies, hikes to the nearby mountains, and other social activities。 

If he is a day student, he can only drive to campus。It would be driving to school and home every day。 

Although rare, if a cadet repeatedly violates the prescribed cadet handbook, or if he does something beyond the first violation, he can be expelled from Fishburne。 

Once you are officially expelled from Fishburne, he will not be able to re-register。However, this is one of those rare situations where his attack has to be shocking。Similarly, our mission is to provide a structured educational environment that will help him succeed in his academic career and in life。
